Those heathen Catholics…how dare they keep their dead members from being baptized into the “one true religion!” And of course watching the report on the news was far more entertaining than simply reading the story. The anchor was very somber and condescending. I laughed. And that line in the article about how the LDSers have their records open…of course you do, because no one’s running around baptizing your dead grandma.



I tell you one thing though…if these crazies out here have a “Death to Vatican” rally like they had a “Death to Israel” rally. I’m out. I’m packing up my little Civic and getting the hell out of dodge.



In other news, PETA is trying to get the jockey that rode the horse that died suspended. What kind of ignorant crap is that? These horses break down because of poor breeding, not because 110 lbs of jockey smacked them with a stick. These horses want to run and are bred to run…most unfortunately they have tiny little legs with lots of muscle on them. If PETA really wants to help society they should stop being hippies and get real jobs. Leave the industry to sort out the mess they have created. Ok, I’ll get off my soapbox now.



Other than that…I’m still in Utah for a few more weeks…then it’s travel time again.
